The Hellenic Air Force Academy (HAFA) successfully organized the Common Module on Unmanned AerialSystems, in collaboration with the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening military and academic cooperation at the European level.
The training module was held from 12 to 16 May 2025 at the facilities of the Hellenic Air Force Academy and included theoretical and practical sessions, workshops, and the exchange of best practices in the rapidly evolving domain of Unmanned Aerial Systems.
Participants included cadets from European military educational institutions, students from Hellenic universities, as well as trainees from security services academies, fostering multinational cooperation and shared understanding of contemporary defence and security challenges.
Lectures were delivered by distinguished experts from the Hellenic Air Force Academy, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the Hellenic Air Force Telecommunications and Electronics Depot, the Hellenic Center for Defence Innovation, the Air Tactics Center, as well as representatives from the private sector and the defence industry.
This initiative was conducted within the framework of the European Initiative for the Exchange of Military Young Officers (EMILYO), promoting academic and professional convergence among military, academic, and industrial actors in matters of technology and security.
