The Hellenic Air Force Academy will organise the Common Module on Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) from Monday, 29 September 2025 to Friday, 3 October 2025, at the Dekelia Air Base, under the auspices of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC) of the European Union.
This educational module brings together cadets from military academies, young officers, and students with the aim of developing an in-depth understanding of the strategic framework guiding the European Union’s approach to international security and defence cooperation.
The objective of the module is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the role of international organisations in the fields of security, defence, and conflict management. Special emphasis is placed on the complex interdependencies that shape the relationships between international governmental and non-governmental organisations, independent agencies, and strategic partners at the global level.
Through interactive lectures, group work, and intercultural exchanges, this module promotes not only academic and professional excellence but also the shared values of unity, solidarity, and collective responsibility that underpin cooperation in European and international defence.
Lectures will be delivered by professors and guest speakers from Greek universities, military academies of EU member states, and from the Hellenic Air Force Academy.
