From February 4 to 8, the 4-year training trip of the Senior Cadets took place in Munich, Germany. Students had the opportunity to participate in a number of educational activities that enhanced their knowledge and understanding of Germany’s culture, history and institutions. The mission was Leading by the Commander of the School, Major General Ioannis Karamanis, the Director of Military Training, Colonel (P) Antonios Makris, the Dean Professor Roussos Papagiannakis and Officers of the Academy.
On Wednesday 4 February 2026, Cadets were guided through the city of Munich where they were given the opportunity to visit attractions of both technological and historical interest.
On Thursday, February 5, 2026, the cadets visited the German Air Force Academy, where they were guided around its premises and informed about its history and operation. This visit was an important educational experience, as the cadets had the opportunity to come into contact with the military culture and education of Germany. On the same day the expedition visited Nuremberg, where the cadets had the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the area, but also many attractions in one of the most picturesque and historic cities of Bavaria.
On Friday 6 February 2026, the expedition visited the Schleissheim Aviation Museum, where they were informed about the important events and developments that shaped German aviation history. The tour of the museum grounds has been particularly educational, as the cadets have been in contact with exhibits documenting the course of German aviation in the 20th and 21st centuries.
Finally, on Saturday 7 February 2026, the mission visited the German museum of Science and Technology, where cadets had the opportunity to experience one of the largest and oldest museums of its kind in the world, which houses an impressive collection of objects that have shaped human history.
This educational journey offered the senior cadets a unique opportunity to broaden their horizons, develop their international perception and strengthen their knowledge in a variety of areas.
